Publication of a Circular and Notice of an Extraordinary General Meeting
Further to its announcement on 31 October 2006, the Board of Jupiter European
Opportunities Trust PLC (the "Company") announces that it has today published a
circular to Shareholders and convened an Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM")
in connection with recommended proposals for the continuation of the life of the
Company beyond its planned winding up date on Friday, 29 February 2008 and for
the introduction of a rolling continuation vote to be put to Shareholders at the
Annual General Meeting in 2008 and at every third Annual General Meeting
thereafter.
