EVS signs a record EUR 5 million equipment deal...

Professional Digital Video applications for Live TV Production
announces today the signature of a major agreement with Presteigne
Charter, a leading worldwide broadcast services group, for the sale
of live and near-live technologies, that shall be used amongst other
at the Olympics by major TV stations, some major tennis tournaments
and many other big sport events.
The EUR 5 million deal includes XT[2] servers, many Multicam LSM,
SpotBox, XStore, CleanEdit, Keyword Assignment and [IP]Director
applications, as well as XNet[2] networking functionalities. The deal
is split in both an equipment sale for EUR 4.3 million and an
equipment rental for EUR 0.6 million for big summer sporting events.
Shipment shall be done late June.
