             Proposed Disposal of Signature Restaurants
                                  
                                  
Further to the announcement made on 14 August 2000, BGR has agreed in
principle  to dispose of its three Signature Restaurants,  comprising
Bank  (Aldwych), Bank Birmingham and Zander, for a cash consideration
of  £11.025  million   of which £775,000 is payable  subject  to  the
future profitability of the Signature Restaurants.

The  proposed  disposal is subject, inter alia, to the completion  of
the  fundraising being undertaken by the company incorporated for the
purpose  of  acquiring  the  business and  assets  of  the  Signature
Restaurants.

The company is intending to come to AIM.

Tony  Allan  will remain executive Chairman of BGR and  will  be  non
executive Chairman of the new Group and Christian Delteil will become
Managing  Director of the new Group and a non-executive  Director  of
BGR.

BGR  intends  to  change  its  name  to  FISH  plc  at  the  earliest
opportunity.
