Mr J P Mervis, former chairman of the Company, has today exercised an option
granted to him under the Company's share option scheme over 2,000,000 Ordinary
Shares in the Company at the exercise price of 5.5p per share.

Application will be made for these shares to be admitted to AIM.

The Company was informed on 26th July 2000 of the following dealings by one of
its Directors which took place on 26th July for settlement on 9th August 2000.

has an interest in 4,652,104 Ordinary Shares amounting to 11.0% of the
Company's issued ordinary share capital.

The Company was notified on 26th July 2000, that, as a result of a purchase on
26th July 2000 of 2,000,000 Ordinary shares of the Company, Edinburgh Fund
Managers have an interest in 4,155,000 Ordinary Shares amounting to 9.82% of
the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
