Further to the announcement on 9 February 2007 of FirstGroup's proposed
acquisition of Laidlaw International, Inc., FirstGroup announces that a circular
setting out further details of the proposed acquisition and containing notice of
an extraordinary general meeting of the Company to be held on 20 April 2007 has
been posted to FirstGroup's shareholders.
