POSTING OF CIRCULAR REGARDING THE ACQUISITION OF F.T. EVERARD & SONS LIMITED
('FT Everard')
Further to the announcement released yesterday, the Company confirms that a
Circular, setting out details of the acquisition of FT Everard and convening an
Extraordinary General Meeting, has now been posted to Shareholders.
Copies of the Circular will be available for inspection at the Financial
Services Authority's Document Viewing Facility, the registered office of the
Company (Fisher House, PO Box 4, Barrow in Furness, Cumbria LA14 1HR) and the
offices of Evolution Securities (100 Wood Street, London EC2V 7AN).
Words and expressions in this announcement have the same meaning as those
defined in the Circular except where the context requires otherwise.

Evolution Securities, which is regulated in the UK by the Financial Services
Authority, is acting exclusively for James Fisher in connection with the
Acquisition and no one else and will not be responsible to anyone other than
James Fisher for providing the protections afforded to clients of Evolution
Securities nor for providing advice in relation to the Acquisition.

Financial Services Authority, is acting exclusively for James Fisher in
connection with the Acquisition and no one else and will not be responsible to
