Trading Update 2006
Flomerics Group plc, the global supplier of simulation software, announces a
trading update as it enters a close period for the year ended 31 December 2006.
The Board is pleased with the company's overall performance in what has been a
year of major transition following the acquisition of Nika GmbH in July. Whilst
the integration of this business is at an early stage, good progress has been
made with use of the combined sales channels for the enlarged product base.
The performance from the Nika line of products has been encouraging with better
than expected sales from the launches in the US and the UK. This bodes well for
2007 when we shall have increased sales resources in these territories.
The MicReD line of business has performed ahead of expectation, again with very
encouraging results from the launch of this product in the US.
Revenues are expected to be in line with market expectations. Profit before tax,
goodwill and exceptional costs (including certain costs relating to the
integration of the acquisition) is also in line with market expectations.
The Company currently has a healthy sales pipeline and enters 2007 with
confidence.
The company expects to announce full year results for 2006 in early March 2007.
