Paddy Power plc has applied to the Irish Stock Exchange, the London Stock
Exchange and the UK Listing Authority to block list 384,000 ordinary shares
which may be issued under the Paddy Power plc May 2000 Executive Share Option
Scheme.

These ordinary shares will rank pari passu with existing ordinary shares.
