          THE TRUSTEES OF THE PADDY POWER plc EMPLOYEE BENEFIT TRUST



The Trustees of the Paddy Power plc Employee Benefit Trust, purchased 50,000 and
100,000 Ordinary Shares of euro 0.10 each in Paddy Power plc at euro 12.90 and
euro 12.976 per Ordinary Share on 21 June 2006 and 22 June 2006 respectively.





The Trust was established by Paddy Power plc to implement the terms of the Paddy
Power plc 2004 Long Term Incentive Plan approved by shareholders at the Annual
General Meeting on 22 June 2004.
