TRANSACTION IN OWN SECURITIES

The Board of Foresight VCT plc announces that on 9 December 2011 the Company purchased for cancellation 11,000 Ordinary shares of 1p at a price of 100.5p per share.

Following these purchases there are now 28,285,381 Ordinary shares of 1p in issue.
