Re: adidas AG and Reebok EasyTone shoes

We refer to the reports on Tuesday 12 April 2011 that adidas AG's Japanese unit was raided by the Fair Trade Commission for allegedly pressurising retailers not to discount Reebok EasyTone shoes, launched in Japan in 2009.

Sports Direct wishes to confirm that, since their launch in the UK in 2009 and to date, adidas AG has not supplied Reebok EasyTone shoes to Sports Direct. Should the above issue arise in the UK, Sports Direct would not face any risk of sanction.

The Office of Fair Trading's investigation under the Competition Act 1998 into the sports goods retail sector is ongoing.
