Purchase of own shares

The Company announces that it has today purchased for holding as treasury 50,000
"A" Ordinary shares of £1 each at a price of £6.725.

The issued share capital remains at 13,007,387 shares which includes 150,000
treasury shares.

For reporting purposes under section 198 of the Companies Act 1985 the market
should exclude any shares held in treasury for which the current figure is now
12,857,387 shares.
