               FUTURE NETWORK APPOINTS NEW FINANCE DIRECTOR





The Future Network plc announces today the appointment of John Bowman as its
new Group Finance Director, with effect from November 16.



John (45) joins from Scottish Radio Holdings plc ('SRH') where he has been
Group Finance Director since 1994 and where he has played a key role in the
group's successful expansion by acquisition and organic growth.  He has
considerable media experience and prior to joining the SRH group worked for
KPMG.



There are no disclosures required in respect of paragraphs 6.F.2(b) to (g) of
the Listing Rules



Commenting on the appointment, Greg Ingham, Chief Executive of Future Network,
said:



'John is a well-regarded media professional, is well-known in the City and has
strong financial experience.  He has an ideal mix of skills and his
credentials will be of great benefit to Future Network.  We are pleased to
appoint someone of John's calibre as we move the group forward.



'I am also grateful to Michael Penington who has been Interim Finance Director
since March and also assisted us in the search for a permanent Finance
Director.  I am delighted that Michael will continue to support the group in
his role as a non-executive director.'
