The Future Network plc (LSE: FNET) is aware of the recent material decline in
its share price. The Board of Future Network is aware of its continuing
obligations to make disclosure of material matters affecting the company.
Future Network provided a current trading statement in its circular to
shareholders dated 14 June 2001 relating to the proposed disposal of Business
2.0. The Board of Future Network is satisfied that, since the date of that
circular, there has been no deterioration in the company's financial
condition, the performance of its businesses or in the company's expectation
as to its performance.
As previously announced, the US Department of Justice review of the Business
2.0 disposal under the Hart Scott Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 is
ongoing. Future Network will advise investors as soon as that review is
resolved.
