GALLIFORD TRY ACHIEVES FINANCIAL CLOSE
ON £32 MILLION PPP PROJECT
Galliford Try plc, the construction and housebuilding group, today announces
that it has achieved financial close on the £32 million Public Private
Partnership (PPP) contract for NHS Fife to build and operate a new state of the
art Community Hospital and Health Centre in St Andrews, Fife. Morrison
Construction, part of Galliford Try's building division, will carry out the
construction, and Morrison Facilities Services the post construction services.
Galliford Try Investments holds 100% of the equity investment and will carry out
the project management.
The hospital and health centre will facilitate integration of services including
GP Practices, In-Patient, Out-Patient, Dental and Social Work services.
Construction will commence in December 2007 and is expected to complete in June
2009.
