GALLIFORD TRY REACHES FINANCIAL CLOSE ON £26 MILLION LIFT PROJECT
Galliford Try plc, the housebuilding and construction group, has reached financial close on a £26.2 million project to redevelop Finchley Memorial Hospital in north London as a LIFT framework partner of Elevate Partnerships.
The project will be carried out in two phases and under the first phase Galliford Try will undertake the construction of the new hospital next to the site of the current hospital building. The second phase will involve the decant and demolition of the existing hospital followed by landscaping of the site.
The new hospital is expected to achieve a BREEAM rating of "Excellent." Work on site will commence in October with completion of the first phase in July 2012 and the second phase in July 2013.
