Hangar8 to operate the first Hawker 4000 in Europe and Russia for Charter

Hangar 8 plc, one of Europe's largest operators of privately owned passenger jet aircraft, today announces that it has taken delivery of the first European registered Hawker 4000 in the world, significantly adding to its fleet of 19 business jets.

The $23 million, Hawker 4000, to be based at London Oxford Airport, will be managed under contract by the Company and is the first of its type to be operated for charter anywhere in Europe or Russia.

The Hawker 4000 offers a new generation of composite construction which claims to be one of the fastest, longest range, quietest and most economical jets in its class. The advanced construction technology allows full transatlantic range in a stand up cabin carrying up to 10 passengers in exceptional comfort at a cost of nearly 30% less than current production competitors.

Hangar8 will be offering the Hawker 4000 with its advanced technology and low running costs as one of the most keenly priced aircraft in its class creating a very desirable charter aircraft, along with the obvious demand of passengers wanting to be seen in the newest and latest model of aircraft available today.
