On 30 January 2002, Games Workshop Employee Share Trust (on the direction of
Games Workshop Trustee Limited) acquired 60,000 5p Ordinary Shares at a price of
543.5p per share.  Messrs C J Myatt, S G Forrest and M Sherwin, directors of the
Company, are directors of Games Workshop Trustee Limited.

As a result of this purchase, Games Workshop Trustee Limited is interested in
296,265 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.98 per cent. of the Company's issued
share capital.
