Participation of Directors in Cash Placing
On 29 November 2005, Asia Energy PLC announced that 6,740,000 new ordinary
shares had been placed at a placing price of 450 pence per share, of which
4,143,976 shares were placed firm ('Firm Placing Shares') and 2,596,024 were
placed conditionally ('Conditional Placing Shares') subject to shareholder
approval of certain resolutions to be proposed at an EGM which has been convened
for 22 December 2005. As noted in the placing announcement, certain Directors of
the Company participated in the Firm Placing Shares and Conditional Placing
Shares. They have today acquired beneficial interests in the Company's ordinary
shares which were placed firm as follows:
