Notification of Transactions by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities (PDMRs)
Pursuant to the notification obligations under Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4R, and further to the announcements made on 22 and 28 September 2015, the Company hereby announces that as part of the ongoing internal re-organisation of Mehmet Sepil's indirectly held interests, through Elysion Energy Holding B.V. ('Elysion'), 1,727,976 voting ordinary shares in Genel Energy plc have been sold between 28th and 1st October 2015 for an average price of £2.769538.
It was previously notified that following completion of the internal re-organisation and once all steps are finalised (which will not happen simultaneously) Mehmet Sepil's indirect interest in the Company will remain unchanged. However, there will now be a reduction in Mehmet Sepil's holding as part of this process.
Accordingly, Mehmet Sepil's total holding immediately following this notification is 28,906,042 (11.62%) voting ordinary shares and 1,100,515 (3.72%) suspended voting ordinary shares.
Murat Yazici's total holding immediately following this notification is nil (0.0%) voting ordinary shares and 182,020 (0.61%) suspended voting ordinary shares.
