Genesis Worldwide Receives Notification of Holdings

MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 12, 2009) - Genesis Worldwide Inc. ("Genesis" or the "Company"),
(TSX:GWI)(AIM:GWI), a leading provider of "green" building technologies, announces that on February 5, 2009,
the Company was notified by Codding Enterprises, a California Limited Partnership, that as at December 29,
2008, Codding held 1,051,400 of the Common Shares of the Company, representing 3.4% of the issued share capital
of the Company.

As at February 12, 2009, the Company had 30,982,858 Common Shares outstanding.
