Awarded Responsible Gold Certification at South African Gold Recovery Operation
Goldplat plc, the AIM listed gold recovery and production company in Africa, is pleased to announce that the Company's market leading South African gold recovery operation, Goldplat Recovery (Pty) Limited ('GPL') has been certified as producer of Responsible Gold, with its strategic partner, Rand Refinery, one of the world's leading gold refining companies. Responsible Gold, in accordance with international guidelines, accounts for gold produced, which follows the 'Chain of Custody' requirements consistent with the Organisation of Economic Co-operation and Development's due diligence guidance for responsible supply chains. This certification also adheres to the London Bullion Market Association's 'Responsible Gold Guidance' and the World Gold Council certification of 'Conflict-Free' gold.
