                Clarification re Kenyan Gold Mine Joint Venture


Further to the announcement on 13 June 2007, Goldplat plc would like to clarify
that the joint venture holds the rights to develop the gold potential of the ten
targets, amounting to a total area of approximately 14 sq km, selected by
Goldplat and referred to in the announcement within the Lolgorien licence area
in the historically producing Migori Archaean Greenstone Belt in western Kenya.
