The Board of Gooch & Housego announces the following senior management changes.
Dr. John Baker has today accepted the appointment as Managing Director and Mr.
Paul Kenrick has resigned as a Director with immediate effect.
John Baker has a Ph.D. in Physics and has a strong record in the management of
technical businesses within divisions of major multinational companies. His most
recent appointment was as Managing Director of the AIM listed company CRC Group
Plc.
Gooch & Housego's Executive Chairman Archie Gooch stated that 'John Baker brings
with him a broad knowledge of technology based components supplied into a
variety of markets. His strong management background makes him ideally suited to
maintain our profitable growth and to give our business continuing stability as
we take advantage of opportunities as they present themselves. I am delighted to
welcome him to the Company.'
The Company and Mr. Kenrick have mutually agreed to end their relationship on an
amicable basis.
