Holdings in Company

The Company was informed on 5 June 2008 that AXA S.A. and its Group Companies now hold 6,813,712 ordinary shares in GTE, representing 10.03 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company, having acquired 789,474 ordinary shares in GTE as a result of the placement that was announced on 29 May 2008.

The Company was notified on 30 May 2008 that Cantor Fitzgerald Europe had acquired 1,973,683 ordinary shares in GTE on 29 May 2008, representing 3.35 per cent. of the Company prior to the Placing announced on 29 May 2008. The Company was informed on 2 June 2008 that Cantor Fitzgerald Europe had disposed of 1,973,683 ordinary shares in GTE on 30 May 2008. Following this disposal Cantor Fitzgerald no longer has a notifiable interest in the Company.
