Reduction of Capital
Dublin, London, 3 July 2023: Greencoat Renewables PLC ("Greencoat Renewables" or the "Company") today announces that the capital reduction, as described in the Company's AGM circular that was sent to shareholders on 29 March 2023, has become effective.
The High Court of Ireland has made an order confirming a capital reduction of the Company's share premium account at 31 December 2022 (the "Capital Reduction"). The Capital Reduction was approved by shareholders at the annual general meeting held on 28 April 2023. The order of the High Court was registered with the Registrar of Companies in Ireland on 28 June 2023 and, accordingly, the Capital Reduction has now become effective. The reserve resulting from the cancellation of share premium will be treated as profits available for distribution by the Company.
Following the Capital Reduction, the total voting rights outstanding in the Company remain unchanged.
