Completion of Share Buyback Programme

Greencore Group plc, ('Greencore' or the 'Company') is pleased to announce the completion of its £15 million share buyback programme ('Programme') that commenced on 10 October 2023.

 

Between 10 October 2023 and 22 February 2024, 15,438,604 ordinary shares in the Company were repurchased on the London Stock Exchange for cancellation at a weighted average price of £0.9716 per share. This represented 3.193% of the issued share capital of the Company (excluding any shares held in treasury, of which there are none) when the Programme commenced.

 

On 24 May 2022, the Company announced its intention to recommence value return of up to £50 million over the following two years consistent with the Group's capital management policy. Following the completion of the Programme the Company has now returned £50 million to shareholders via share buyback which marks the end of this value return.
