Greencore Group plc announces that on 30 May 2005, 319,807 shares were sold out of the Company's holding of treasury 
shares. The subscription price paid for these shares was €3.36 per share.

Greencore Group plc has a total of 198,366,728 shares in issue.  These shares are represented by  3,904,716 shares which
are held in treasury, 194,462,011 shares which are in issue as ordinary shares of  €0.63 each and 1 special rights 
preference share of €1.26.
