10th December 2001 that Malcolm Simpson, a director of the Company, purchased 
3,500 ordinary shares of 20p each (0.029% of the issued share capital) at a 
price of £30,00 per share.

The total beneficial and non-beneficial holdings of Malcolm Simpson (excluding 
interests in share options) following this notification are:-
