I give below details of changes in the interests of the Connected Person of a Director in the Ordinary Shares of GlaxoSmithKline plc (Ordinary Shares) on 16 May 2013:

Director	Transaction
Sir Andrew Witty's Connected Person	The transfer of 670 Ordinary Shares from a nominee holding and the repurchase of 664 Ordinary Shares into an ISA at a price of 1723.58p and 1723.64p per share respectively.

The Company and the above mentioned persons were advised of these transactions on 16 May 2013.

This notification relates to transactions notified in accordance with Disclosure Rule 3.1.4R(1)(a) and (c).
