Notification of Transactions of Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility

I give below details of changes in the interests of Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility (PDMRs), in the Ordinary shares of GlaxoSmithKline plc as a result of the sale of Ordinary shares at a price of £14.15 per share on 17 February 2012, to meet their tax liabilities following the vesting of awards granted in 2009 under the GlaxoSmithKline Share Value Plan:
