                                from a trust of which Mr Coombe is a trustee
                                (The J D Coombe 1999/1 Discretionary Trust) of a
                                total of 2,760 shares in GlaxoSmithKline plc to
                                three beneficiaries under the Trust, namely Mr
                                Coombe's three adult daughters.


                                The sale on 26 March 2002 by a trust of which Mr
                                Coombe is a trustee (The JD Coombe 1999/1
                                Discretionary Trust) of 500 shares in
                                GlaxoSmithKline plc at a price of £16.49 per
                                share.


                                The sale on 26 March 2002 by a trust of which Mr
                                Coombe is a trustee (The G A Coombe 1999/1
                                Discretionary Trust) of 400 shares in
                                GlaxoSmithKline plc at a price of £16.49 per
                                share.
