TREASURY SHARES - CANCELLATION

Qatar Investment Fund plc (the "Company") announces that the 10,000 shares purchased on 01 April 2014, the 10,000 shares purchased on 02 April 2014, the 10,000 shares purchased on 03 April 2014, the 10,000 shares purchased on 04 April 2014, the 20,500 shares purchased on 07 April 2014, the 11,983 shares purchased on 08 April 2014, the 10,000 shares purchased on 09 April 2014, the 20,000 shares purchased on 11 April 2014, the 20,000 shares purchased on 14 April 2014, the 15,000 shares purchased on 15 April 2014, the 10,000 shares purchased on 16 April 2014, the 60,000 share purchased on 23 April 2014, the 20,000 shares purchased on 25 April 2014 and the 35,000 shares purchased on 29 April 2014, have been cancelled in accordance with the Company's treasury share policy published on 15 August 2010. Following the cancellation, the Company now holds 948,509 shares in treasury.

The Company's issued share capital comprises 138,774,240 ordinary shares with voting rights with a further 948,509 shares held in treasury.

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the Company's total number of shares with voting rights therefore remains unchanged at 138,774,240.
