Share buy back

Qatar Investment Fund Plc (the "Company") announces that on 16 June 2011 it purchased 13,043 of its ordinary shares at a price per share of $US0.8575. Following the above purchase, the company holds 224,898 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 233,236,264 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).

The above figure of 233,236,264 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
