Qatar Investment Fund Plc (the "Company") announces that on 25 March 2013 it purchased 10,000 shares of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD0.91 and 9,975 shares of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD0.9075. Following the above purchases, the Company holds 11,917,663 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 177,297,924 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).

The above figure of 177,297,924 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
