QATAR INVESTMENT FUND PLC

TREASURY SHARES - CANCELLATION

Qatar Investment Fund Plc (the "Company") announces that the 10,000 shares purchased on 27 June 2011, 60,000 shares purchased 28 June 2011 and the 20,000 shares purchased on 30 June 2011 have been cancelled in accordance with the Company's treasury share policy published on 15 July 2010. Following the cancellation, the Company now holds 6,317,833 shares in treasury.

The Company's issued share capital comprises 226,678,633 ordinary shares with voting rights with a further 6,317,833 shares held in treasury.

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the Company's total number of shares with voting rights therefore remains unchanged at 226,678,633.
