TREASURY SHARES - CANCELLATION

Qatar Investment Fund Plc (the "Company") announces that the 40,000 shares purchased on 5 May 2010 and 20,000 shares purchased on 6 May 2010 have been cancelled in accordance with the Company's treasury share policy published on 15 July 2010. Therefore, the Company now holds 61,855 shares in treasury.

The Company's issued share capital comprises 233,399,307 ordinary shares with voting rights and 61,855 shares held in Treasury.

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1,the Company's total number of shares with voting rights therefore remains unchanged at 233,399,307.
