TREASURY SHARES - CANCELLATION

Qatar Investment Fund plc (the "Company") announces that the 59,000 shares purchased on 2 January 2013, 57,900 shares purchased on 3 January 2013, the 5,000 shares purchased on 4 January 2013, the 36,162 shares purchased on 7 January 2013, the 29,357 shares purchased on 8 January 2013, the 15,297 purchased on 11 January 2013, the 39,000 shares purchased on 14 January 2013, the 38,157 shares purchased on 15 January 2013, the 25,382 shares purchased on 16 January 2013 and the 103,938 shares purchased on 17 January 2013 have been cancelled in accordance with the Company's treasury share policy published on 15 July 2010. Following the cancellation, the Company now holds 6,355,775 shares in treasury.

The Company's issued share capital comprises 155,983,174 ordinary shares with voting rights with a further 6,355,775 shares held in treasury.

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the Company's total number of shares with voting rights therefore remains unchanged at 155,983,174.
