Board and Committee Changes

Hammerson plc announces a number of changes to its Board and Committees.

Gwyn Burr was appointed as a member of the Remuneration Committee effective from 14 February 2014.

At the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting on 23 April 2014 the following changes will occur:

·      As previously announced, John Hirst will stand down as a Non-Executive Director and as Chairman of the Audit Committee

·      Jacques Espinasse will become Chairman of the Audit Committee

·      Anthony Watson, who plans to retire from the Board at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting in 2015, will stand down as Chairman of the Remuneration Committee

·      Gwyn Burr will be appointed Chairman of the Remuneration Committee

John Hirst will become Chairman of the Hammerson Group Management Limited Pension and Life Assurance Scheme with effect from 28 April 2014.
