Directorate update
The Board of Holidaybreak, the European specialist holiday group, notes today's
announcement that Bob Ayling, its non-executive Chairman, is taking up the
additional position of Chairman at Sanctuary Group.
This does not affect Mr. Ayling's position at Holidaybreak. Indeed, the Board
has extended his tenure for a further three years from 1 June 2006.
Mr. Ayling was appointed a Non-executive Director of Holidaybreak in February
2003 and became Chairman in June 2003.
Holidaybreak CEO Carl Michel said: 'I am delighted that Bob will remain Chairman
of Holidaybreak for at least the next 3 years. Under his leadership,
Holidaybreak has developed as a rapidly growing European specialist holiday
group selling more than three million holidays a year. We are market leaders and
enjoy margins well above industry norms. Together, I am sure we will enjoy more
success going forward.'
Sanctuary also today announced the appointment of James Wallace as a
non-executive Director. This does not affect his position as non-executive
Director, senior independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee at
Holidaybreak.
