Holidaybreak plc (the "Company")





The Company has made a block listing application to the UK Listing Authority and
the London Stock Exchange for 650,000 Ordinary Shares of 5p each in the Company
to be admitted to the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange
upon issuance.



The shares shall rank pari passu with the existing issued shares of the Company.



The ordinary shares of 5p each have been block listed in respect of the
following schemes:



200,000 to the Holidaybreak plc 1996 Unapproved Share Option Scheme.

150,000 to the Holidaybreak plc 1991 Executive (Performance Related) Share
Option Scheme.

100,000 to the Holidaybreak plc 1991 Savings Related Share Option Scheme.

100,000 to the 2001 Company Share Option Plan.

100,000 to the 2001 Savings Related Share Option Scheme.
