Appointment of a New Non-Executive Director

The Board of Henderson Diversified Income Limited (the "Company") announces that Mr Angus Macpherson has been appointed as a non-executive director with effect from 18 January 2016.

Mr Macpherson is Chief Executive of ES Noble & Company. He is also Chairman of JP Morgan Elect PLC, Chairman of the Belhaven Hill School Trust Ltd, a Director of Haitong UK Ltd and a member of the Scottish Government's Financial Services Advisory Board. Previously he worked for Merrill Lynch in London, New York, Singapore and Hong Kong, latterly as Head of Capital Markets and Financing in Asia.

In accordance with paragraphs 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules, it is confirmed that there are no additional details to be disclosed in relation to Mr Macpherson.
