Henderson Diversified Income Limited (the 'Company') was launched on 18 July
2007 to invest in the full spectrum of fixed income asset classes including
senior secured loans, high yield corporate bonds and investment grade corporate
bonds.



Following completion of the Company's initial public offering, financial markets
have suffered significant dislocations as a result of the collapse in confidence
in certain areas of the credit markets and problems in the banking industry
generally.



The Managers believe that this distress has created an attractive investment
opportunity for the Company. Having taken a measured approach to deploying the
Company's capital the Portfolio Managers have now increased the Company's
exposure to its target markets to a level equivalent to approximately 120% of
net asset value.



In the context of strong investment performance since launch and the magnitude
of the investment opportunities currently in the market, the Board of Henderson
Diversified Income Limited announces that it is considering raising additional
capital in the New Year.
