HENDERSON FAR EAST INCOME LIMITED (the "Company")

The Company announces the allotment of 50,000 Ordinary Shares at 357.00p per share on 11 January 2017, each fully paid under its block listing facility. The net asset value per Ordinary Share as at the close of business on 10 January 2017 was 348.1p.

These shares will be issued for cash on 13 January 2017. As at 13 January 2017 the issued share capital will be 115,510,564 and the number of voting rights will be 115,510,564.
