Appointment of a new Director

The Board of Henderson International Income Trust plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Lucy Walker as a non-executive director with effect from 1 September 2020. Lucy will also join the audit committee, nominations and remuneration committee, management engagement committee and insider committee with effect from 1 September 2020.

Lucy was, until 7 August 2020, a fund manager and Head of Third Party Funds at Sarasin & Partners LLP, having joined as an analyst in January 2011. Lucy previously worked in the multi-manager team at HSBC Global Asset Management. She is a non-executive director of Aurora Investment Trust plc, trustee of KEEN London and also sits as an independent member on the audit & risk committee for SportsAid.

In accordance with paragraphs 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules, it is confirmed that there are no other details to be disclosed in relation to Lucy Walker.
