Adjournment of Class Meeting of Subscription Shareholders

Henderson Opportunities Trust plc ('the Company') hereby gives notification that the Class Meeting of Subscription Shareholders due to be held today was adjourned as a quorum was not present.

The adjourned meeting will be held at 2.15pm on Tuesday 29 April 2014, being immediately before the Company's Annual General Meeting.

For those that have already cast their votes, these will be carried forward for the adjourned meeting. The deadline for any further proxy votes has been extended to the close of business on Friday 25 April 2014.
