                               Board Appointment


Henderson Strata Investments plc announces the appointment of Mr P N J May as a
non-executive director of the Company with effect 10 June 2004.

Peter May, who is 49, has a strong background in corporate finance and spent 17
years at Charterhouse; he is currently deputy chairman of MacArthur &
Co.Limited.

Commenting on the appointment, George Burnett, the Chairman of Henderson Strata
Investments plc, said 'We are delighted that Peter May has agreed to join our
board. He brings extensive experience which will be of immense value to the
Trust'.
