 AGM Requisition Notice

On 2 December 2008 The Henderson Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc ('the Company')  announced that the Board had received a requisition notice from Carrousel Capital Ltd ('Carrousel'). This required a resolution to be put to shareholders at the next Annual General Meeting of the Company, expected to be held towards the end of September 2009.  

The Company has received notification from Carrousel today that it has realised its entire holding in the Company. Accordingly, the requirement to put the resolution set out in the requisition notice has fallen away.
