Henry Boot PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr John Brown ACCA CTA
as a Non Executive Director with immediate effect.



John recently retired as Chief Executive of Speedy Hire Plc, a company he
founded in 1977, the market leader in its field with a national network of over
320 locations.



John is a Non Executive Director of Lookers plc (Chairman of Audit
Committee) and Chairman of two AIM listed companies, Novera Energy Limited and
Voller Energy Group PLC.



There are no further details that are required to be disclosed in respect of the
appointment under LR 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
