Henry Boot PLC: Sale of Shares by Pension Scheme
The Trustees of The Henry Boot Staff Pension & Life Assurance Scheme ('the
Scheme') have advised Henry Boot PLC ('the Company') that they have today sold
100,000 Ordinary 10 pence Shares in the Company at a price of 905 pence per
share. This reduces the Scheme's holding of shares in the Company (registered in
the name of 'Moore Street Securities Limited a/c P') from 650,000 to 550,000.
The Trustees have stated that they been obliged to take this action in view of
the out-performance of the Company's shares compared with the Scheme's assets
which has resulted in the value of the holding exceeding the statutory 5% limit
relating to Employer Related Investments.
